Mr. Harshad Shah has initiated Doshi Group the chairman and Managing Director of the group, is a self made business entrepreneur, started his career in 1980, immediately after completing his graduation of B.Sc. (Chemistry) at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, (India). Initially he started trading of organic & inorganic chemicals treading mostly of Caustic Soda Flakes & Lye. With his profound skills and broad visions subsequently in the year 1982-93 he has take over a sick manufacturing unit called as Sigma Solvents & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. situated at Nr. Ahemdabad, Gujarat (India). And in a very short period of 2 years made it a profit making company Sigma Solvents & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is manufacturing various grades of Diethyl Ether (Sovent EtherIP/BP) and Aneasthetic Ether.

In the year 1997 he took over a running unit viz. Milan Intermediates Pvt. Ltd. situated at Industrial area of Vatva, Ahmedabad,Gujarat (India). Which was working at a low capacity, manufacturing H-Acid. and turned in to a profit making one in a short time.

In the year 2002, he successfully purchased in an open bid a Distillery known as Cellulose Product of India Ltd.(CPIL), The unit was renamed as Doshi Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. , (DCPL). DCPL is situated on Hansot High Way, Seven K.M. form Ankleshwar, Gujarat (India) It has two plants working at full capacity manufacturing 120 KL. of Ethyl Alcohol and another 500 M.T. of Acetic Acid (Glacial).

The plant is standing on a sprawling 40 Acres of lush green land surrounded by several farms. Again the success story and the unit started making reasonable profits from the first year of its operations.

Harshad Shah is a young Visionary and at the age of 45 his immediate goal is to achieve the magic figure of Rs.100 Crores of turn over during this year.
